I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 Series in my office. The Scan to Email listings is full of old emails that I do not have pin access to. I have tried a manual reset and the other options listed here on the community pages but have had no success. Are there options I am missing?

Hi @HowieGirl,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I can imagine how frustrating it must be to deal with a cluttered email list on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8030, especially when you can't access the necessary pins to remove those old entries. Let's work together to find a solution!
Here are a few questions to help clarify the situation:
- Have you checked if the printer has the latest firmware updates installed?
- Are you trying to remove the email addresses directly from the printer's interface, or are you using the HP Smart app or web interface?
- Have you considered resetting the Scan to Email settings to see if that clears the list?
Let's try these steps if not done already.
Update Firmware:
- Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware. Go to HP's support website, download the latest firmware for the OfficeJet Pro 8030, and install it.
Access the Printer's Web Interface:
- Print a configuration page from the printer. Use the IP address listed on the page to access the printer’s web interface through a web browser. Check under Email Settings for options to manage or delete email addresses.
Reset Scan to Email Settings:
- Go to the printer’s control panel > Setup > Email Setup > Reset Email Setup. This may help clear any cached data, including old email addresses.
Check for HP Smart App Options:
- If you're using the HP Smart app, check if there are any options within the app for managing Scan to Email settings or clearing out old email addresses.
If the above steps don't resolve the issue, this might require one-on-one interaction via remote assistance to fix the issue over the phone.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
