We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Deskjet 4152e, and when I use Adobe Acrobat to scan a document to PDF, I use the ADF.  This only gets odd numbered pages.  When it finishes, Acrobat asks if the scan is complete or if I need to scan more pages.  However, it will only scan from the flatbed glass, one page at a time.  I cant get it to recognize the ADF for the reverse pages.  I suspect there is a setting in the printer driver to recognize ADF, but adobe may not be recognizing it.  Does anyone have any ideas, or is this a question for the Adobe forum (I'm also posting this there)

Welcome to the HP Community.

 

Adobe Reader might not discern that you need to manually reload the document to capture the "other side".

 

First,

Suggest that you install the Full Feature Software / full driver printer software.

 

Next,

Use HP Scan (part of the full driver software)

OR

Use HP Smart

 

Start here:

HP Deskjet Plus 4152 |4155 |4158 : Download & Install HP Full featured Software on a Win 10 computer

 

and then

HP DeskJet Plus 4140 |4152 |4155 |4158 : Scan a 2 sided document using HP Smart on Win 10 computer

Open Subsection:  Private Pickup (HP+ printers only)

Enable / Disable the service to hold the print job until the person who sent it is near the printer.
