After installing current printer to new computer, I get a different scanner tool menu. HP6968 (6960) All-in-one printer. I have the original disc, but loading on a new computer does not open the more useful tools. It does not have adjustments for contrast, brightness, or mid-tone range. How can I get them back? i'm hoping the is a driver on the original disc I can load manually.

Hello @JLV80
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Here's what you need to do:
- Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
HP Scan and/or HP App - Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- download only this complete package: HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 All-in-One Print and Scan Driver and Accessories
- Close all programs
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the EXE,
File name:
Full_Webpack-40.16.1234_1-OJ6960_Full_Webpack.exe
(116.6 MB) - The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
- Restart the System again
- Now the installation is complete.
Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.
Hope that helps.
Kind Regards
