HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

After installing current printer to new computer, I get a different scanner tool menu.  HP6968 (6960) All-in-one printer. I have the original disc, but loading on a new computer does not open the more useful tools.  It does not have adjustments for contrast, brightness, or mid-tone range.  How can I get them back?  i'm hoping the is a driver on the original disc I can load manually.

Hello @JLV80
Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
    HP Scan and/or HP App
  2. Restart the PC
  3. Close all programs
  4. download only this complete package: HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 All-in-One Print and Scan Driver and Accessories
  5. Close all programs
  6. Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the EXE,
    File name:
    Full_Webpack-40.16.1234_1-OJ6960_Full_Webpack.exe
    (116.6 MB)
  7. The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
  8. Restart the System again
  9. Now the installation is complete.

Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.

Hope that helps.

Kind Regards
