Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8710
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I received an email offer to upgrade to Readiris 17 for $59.  I believe that I have had IRIS in the past and may still have it.  I am not sure if or when I first bought it, or if it was included with my OfficeJet Pro 8710.  I have scanned documents with acceptable results, though I haven't much tried editing them.  Do I need to do this upgrade?

Hi,

A read iris pro 15 license for a single PC was included with your printer software.

 

You may upgrade it and may not, from your description I doubt you really need it or use it often, version 15 remain installed and not required to update to work, it is just an offer to get a newer version.

PS - 

I have Readiris Pro 15 under Program Files (x86)

 

I also have, under Prog Files x86, in folder “HP” a file “IrisOCR_12.3.7.0
