I have an document feeder jam error.  Had originally jammed when trying to send fax via feeder. Removed paper ( which wasn't even torn or crumpled) and have had this error since. It is essentially "BRICKED" now. I am only able to print from my pc but cannot do anything else because the touch screen will only display the error. I cannot to get to a screen to allow me to go back to reset or default  settings.

I have already done all of the suggested troubleshooting...on/off; unplugged from the printer itself; lifted both areas of the ADF...there is no jam...no little bits stuck anywhere inside either ( the original jammed was never torn)

@TJak65, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

Make sure you have cleaned the seperator pad and the paper pick rollers in the ADF region as shown in this document - ADF does not pick paper or feeds in too many sheets

For more info on resolving  a paper jam error, you may try the steps from this document - Paper Jam Error

If the error persists, leave the printer unplugged for couple of hours and try again. You may hold the power button down for 20 seconds while the printer is unplugged to check if that helps.

If the error persists, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
