How do I scan a double sided document to print 2 sided on a hp 6000

The HP 6000 series printers support double-sided scanning using the automatic document feeder (ADF). To scan double-sided documents, follow these steps:

Scanning Multi-page Two-sided Documents (Windows)

1. Go to 123.hp.com/setup to download and install HP Easy Start with the full feature software and driver.
2. Load the two-sided document into the automatic document feeder (ADF).
3. Search Windows for your printer model name and number to open HP Printer Assistant. On the Scan tab, click Scan a Document or Photo to open HP Scan.
4. Select Scan Shortcuts > Everyday Scan.
5. In the shortcut settings, select Document Feeder if loaded in the Source menu, and then select 2-sided (manual) in the Page Sides menu.
6. After scanning the first sides, a prompt with instructions on how to scan the other sides of the document displays. Click OK to scan the other sides.
7. The pages are automatically arranged in the correct order.
8. Select PDF as the file type, choose a saving location, and then click Save.

Scanning Multi-page Two-sided Documents (Mac)

1. Go to 123.hp.com/setup to download and install HP Easy Start with the full feature software and driver with HP Easy Scan.
2. Load the two-sided document in the ADF.
3. From the Applications list, open HP Easy Scan.
4. Click the Scanner menu, and then select your printer.
5. Click Presets > Edit Settings.
6. In the Presets settings, select Document in the Type menu, select Document Feeder in the Source menu, and then select Scan both sides of page under More Options.
7. After scanning the first sides, a prompt with instructions on how to scan the other sides of the document displays. Click Continue to scan the other sides.
8. The pages are automatically arranged in the correct order.
9. Click Send, select PDF in the Format menu, and then click Save.
