Sending faxes does not require ink from your printer. You are correct in that the only ink used is for the fax report.

Hello,
Based on what you describe, I believe you have been faxing your documents out while your printer has no ink in the cartridge. Is that correct?
If that is the case, you need not worry. The printer or fax machine of your recipient will be able to receive the fax.

Hi,
Sorry for jumping in. I would like to clarify one thing. It does not require inks to send faxes BUT you may still need inks because it FIRSTLY is a printer and it may stop at the warming up process because no inks.
