Double sided scanning in Hp smart tank 7305

I bought the Hp smart tank 7305 and it is very shame not to be able to use the double sided scan in feeder. I bought that type specifically knowing it has a double sided scanner "automatically". Otherwise, I wouldn't buy this product. 

1. It is very pricy comparing to other printer out there.

2. It's heavy and it is very complicated to operate. I Always have a trouble with the buttons because it's not responding to whatever I click.

Can't you do something in the app so that we can have an access to double sided scan???

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.  Unfortunately the Docuemnt feeder scans 1 sided only.

This application is not available in apple store. And it doesn’t scan both side automatically!! You still have to put it again to scan.

This doesn’t resolve the problem of the printers High price and for having this automatic double sided scan.

This printer does not support 2 sided scanning on the document feeder.

Were the specifciations not clear on the box or online where the printer was purchased?
