I just downloaded and updated my driver.  Now the scans are sent to the wrong directory.  How do I change the directory on my computer that the scans are sent to.

Hi,

Download and follow the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe

 

Follow the steps on screen by selecting Fix Scanning.

 

If the HP Software is not installed on your computer, follow the steps on screen to install it.

Hi,

Open the HP Envy 5660 software and select Scan, then click on Scan a document or photo.

Select the required shortcut (e.g. Save as PDF) and click More >

Within the Destination tab browse and select the required folder to save the scans, then press the disk icon near the scan shortcut name to save the changes.

What HP software?  I don't have any such animal.  Nothing like that came with my machine, and, as I said, when I updated my drivers, my old config got lost.  I see no way to get to the directory from the little screen on the machine and my computer has not software.

Thanks for the help.  Such a simple thing.  I had downloaded  this fix before but it was somehow incomplete and only dealt with printing.  The link you provided dealt with sanners so it was succesful.
