Hi Greenturtle,

 

I got my scanner working. I downloaded on my old PC (W7) the driver for W8.1, trasfered the driver via an usb-stick to my new copmputer (W10) and executed the driver exe file. And yes, the scanner worrks properly now.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

 

Can you try this:

 

HP Scan Extended

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Hi, I have tried your solution but when trying to run HP Scan Extended I recieve the message "HP Imaging-apparaat is niet gevonden (HP Imaging apparatus not found).

Also with HP-Spindoctor the apparatus was not found, also after turning it off and on again!

How is the scanner connected to your computer?

 

Are you able to try using a USB and see if it resolves the problem?

Hi,

 

I'm connected via a USB connection. In apparatus management I see now the HP Scanjet G3010 photo scanner, but with an exclamation mark, saying no driver available.  Via internet I tried to find a driver, but could not find one. I still cannot scan any document under windows 10. There should be a driver available?

Yes I installed HP Scan extended, but when I click HP/HP Extended Scan, still get the message 'HP imaging-apparatus not found'

At this time, we would advise if you can check for any Windows updates that may have caused the issue or new updates that may resolve the issue.
