Hi Greenturtle,
I got my scanner working. I downloaded on my old PC (W7) the driver for W8.1, trasfered the driver via an usb-stick to my new copmputer (W10) and executed the driver exe file. And yes, the scanner worrks properly now.

The first screen I get when scanning is the following:
When I click OK it gives:
When I click 'zoeken (search)' I get:
When I click 'volgende (next)' the file is saved.
If I go to HP/HP Scan extended and click, the docyument is scanned, but I cannot retrieve it!
