Hi ,
Clearly there is a connection problem with Windows 11 24H2 and The HP Scanner 2600 F1.
After upgrading to 24H2 the scanner is not recognized anymore. The driver from HP website doesnt work.
it shows in the universal serial bus controller (USB printing support).
Even if i manually choose the driver it wont show the scanner.
Anyone has a solution ? or we have to wait for an updated driver or an update from microsoft or a workaround.
Thank you.

Same issue -- you can sometimes get it to recognize the scanner again by uninstalling hp scan and drivers, removing the device in Printers & Scanners rebooting, then reinstalling hp scan, but it will only work until the scanner goes into standby or is turned off/on, or if the computer is rebooted. The generic usbprint.inf usb printing support driver with 24H2 does not correctly recognize/reinitialize the scanner, and I can't locate the correct driver to do this fix: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Scanning-Faxing-Copying/Windows-11-Version-24H2-stopped-Scanner-connec...
