Product: HP DeskJet Plus 4155/ HP EWS
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am using a HP DeskJet Plus 4155 and I am trying to replace my old printer on my Instant Ink subscription. However, I need to access web services where i am prompted to log in as an administrator of the computer on the embedded website server (EWS). I don't have a password or username because I am barely setting up the printer I just bought.

 

I have look on other forums and tried using the credentials 

userID: admin

password: blank/empty/admin/Admin

 

None of these combinations have worked and I am still struggling to enter the credentials on the EWS. How am i supposed to know what my username and password is as the administrator. I'm literally the administrator and haven't even set a password.

Hi,

The username is admin indeed (all lower-case)

 

The password is the PIN listed on the label within the cartridge access door.
