Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

Cannot save a document after it is scanned using HP Easy Scan.  App just quits and document disappears.   Problem started after a remote update apx. Feb. 20.  Printer works fine for copying and printing. Scanner works fine for saving when using the HP Smart app.   Tried restarting computer and re-installing the app.  Could not find a driver or firmware to update.  Other users have also reported this problem.   I am using an iMac with OS 12.7.3.

 

Any assistance or suggestions welcome.
