Easy Scan saving blank scans after update to Ventura OS 10.6

I'm also now having trouble connecting with my HP laser printer. I have to re-start the printer every time I want to print something, and even then it takes multiple tries to get the computer to "find" the printer.

Is HP going to do anything to fix the Mac Ventura -- HP interface?

I found a work around.  Print the scan to a PDF.  That worked for me.

Not as easy as Save, but workable.

I have also used the HP website scan, that worked also.

Frustrating that HP has not rendered a solution.  

Apple service is exceptional, I'm spoiled.

1. Switch Format from PDF to PDF-Searchable and scanned pages aren't blank. 😁
2. It takes a little longer to save, but it's worth it.
3. This option is way better than using HP App.  I hate HP App. 😖
4. PDF-Searchable has a prompt to register for I.R.I.S. (OCR software), but I didn't need to register to get my scans working again.  
5. I scanned a grocery store receipt and saved as PDF-Searchable.  I searched one of the items on the receipt and it took me to the receipt I scanned with PDF-Searchable.

Save scan as PDF searchable works well (top menu).  Did not know of this option.

I have the same issue when saving as PDF and getting white/blank documents.

I tried to do "Print" as "PDF" and it worked fine

I have Ventura 13.0 - same problem.  However, If I select Printer and then Save to PDF, it saves the scan.
