On all Browsers, my HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw is not being allowed to scan. I hit "Scan" then "Next" then hit "Using a Web Browser" and I enter the address on Chrome. Chrome then displays "Embedded Web Server" and I go to "Scan". This is what appears, "You cannot use this function because it has been disabled. For more information, contact the person who set up the printer." I am the person who set up the printer. The URL showed in RED, "Not Secure" and crossed out http How can I solve this and get the Scan function to work?
Prior to this happening, I downloaded the HP Software on my Dell laptop. Oh my!!! I could no longer print from my laptop nor scan. So, I then removed the app. Restarted the laptop and the printer. Printing started working again but "Scan" did not work. Thank you so much for your help!!!

In you browser when you access the printer ( EWS) on the top select the Settings tab, then go left to Security -> Administrator setting and you will get a lot of settings, scroll down to Webscan from EWS and enable then Apply and try now.
