We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I have an Envy 5530 wireless printer that prints and copies with no problems.  However, when I scan documents to my computer it does not always capture the whole page in a scan.  I tried to scan a quick document today with a few lines of type, my signature and my name, typed also.  It only captured my signature and my typed name, not any of the other typed lines. 

 

I experimented with another scanned document a few weeks ago and it did the same thing, until I drew a black border around the whole page and then it scanned it as a complete document.  Another document scanned captured everything but it broke it up into six different documents, each having only a part of the original.  This is driving me crazy!  Is there a setting I need to adjust?

Hi,

 

Please try to sacn from your computer, which will give you more options. In this case, it may not scan the fll area. Please use "Scan size" to get the whole area:

 

         ssize.png

I tried using the computer to scan and it worked.  It took a few extra steps but I have the whole document now.

This is absolutely REDICULOUS!!  HP Fix the issue!  Going through that many steps to just conduct a quick scan rather than scanning from the printer that is built and shipped with the option to scan means the printer options are not worth even having on the printer. 

HP if you are standing by this as an actual solution, that is a COP-OUT!
