I can scan to email, but cannot scan to my PC. I get a message to visit 123.hp.com and install full software and drivers. I did that, and was prompted to install HP Easy Start, which I did, which then took me to another page where it gave me options to install HP Easy Start again or install full software I selected full software, but that only gave me the option to install a new printer. I went through it, and it did recognize my printer, (HP doctor was worthless, it couldn't find my printer, which was connected to my network). However, when I clicked on download, nothing happened. It stayed on the screen showing only the Easy Start download. The Full Softward download was not in my downloaded items. I did turn off my VPN. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I understand you're having trouble with the HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer software installation, particularly with downloading the full software and drivers needed to scan to your PC.
Here are some steps to help you resolve this issue:
Step 1: Uninstall Any Existing HP Software
- Uninstall HP Software:
- Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
- Find any HP printer software, such as "HP ENVY Photo 7855" or "HP Easy Start", and uninstall it.
- Restart your computer.
Step 2: Use the HP Uninstaller
- Download and Run the HP Uninstaller:
- Visit the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page.
- Enter "HP ENVY Photo 7855" and select your printer from the list.
- Choose Windows 10 (64-bit) as your operating system if it isn’t automatically detected.
- Scroll down to find the Utility section and download the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
- Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor to remove all HP printer software and drivers.
Step 3: Install the Full Software
- Install Full Feature Software and Drivers:
- Return to the HP Software and Driver Downloads page.
- Under the Driver-Product Installation Software section, find the Full Feature Software and Drivers package for your printer.
- Download and run the installer. Make sure to select the Full Feature Software and Drivers option and follow the prompts to install it.
Step 4: Reconnect Your Printer
- Reconnect Your Printer to Your Network:
- Make sure your printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
- Use the HP Smart app to reconnect the printer if necessary.
Step 5: Test the Scanner
- Test the Scanner:
- Open the HP Smart app or HP Scan software on your computer.
- Try scanning a document to your PC to see if the issue is resolved.
