Product: Office Jet 3830
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Since last update on Big sur, image capture won't connect with Office jet 3830.  Rather, I get an error message, 
"-21345".  Have called HP, they say its a Mac problem, and, guess what, Apple says it is HP.  Any thoughts?

I understand that you are getting issues with the image capture after the Mac update.

This could be an issue with the improper Mac update, follow these steps to fix the issue.

Update macOS and its apps again

  1. From the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen, choose System Preferences.
  2. Click Software Update.
  3. If any updates or upgrades are available, click Update Now or Upgrade Now to install them. When Software Update says that your Mac is up to date, then macOS and all of its apps are up to date, including Safari, Messages, Mail, Music, Photos, FaceTime, Calendar, and Books.

Update the printer firmware
