Error 344 but only to certain #s

HP9025.  Suddenly faxes will not go through and receive error code 344. Except to one toll free number (which we use somewhat regularly).  Code 344 says its the phone lines but why does the fax always to through to the toll free number but doesn't to local numbers?

Turn off Error Correction Mode to fix the issue:

1. From the printer control panel display, touch Fax .

2. Touch Setup .

3. Touch Preferences .

4. Scroll to Error Correction Mode to touch to turn the feature off.
