New PC/laptop with windows 10 and existing Envy 7645 with wireless connectivity. Print function works fine. Scan to computer does not. The 7645 does not list the new PC and the old serial# is listed eleven (!) times in the Scan to Computer window. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hi,
You may have to start from your computer first, please try:
Double click printer icon on desktop,
Select Manage Scan to Computer
Click Enable -
You can start this automatically with Windows BUT you will get an arror message if you turn on the computer BEFORE the printer.
Regards.

Have you installed printer software and drivers to your new computer yet ? If YES, please download the following tool and run on new computer then post back error message(s):

Yes ... I've uninstalled the printer, re-installed it and have also installed the printer driver/software twice. No error messages to post back. It works to scan to a SD card. Guess that will have to be my choice from now on. If you have any other ideas, that would be great. Thanks.

Thanks ... your answer helped. I am able to scan to my laptop, even though the Laptop identifier on the printer Scan screen makes no sense and the same options/destinations are listed multiple times. I'll live with that, since there doesn't seem to be any way to delete them. (Whine, whine.) Thanks again.
