We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP ENVY 7645 e-All-in-One Printer

This is an older unit, but has worked very well.  For some reason it suddenly stopped faxing and gave us a Communication Error 344.  The only thing that changed recently was unplugging it to put a new multi-outlet base into the receptacle we used.  Since then, it will dial and we can hear the other end answer and our printer says connecting, but then the first page just passes straight through and we get a 344 communication error.  we tried to fax to several different faxes with identical results.

I understand that you are getting "Fax Communication Error 344" on your HP ENVY 7645 E-All-In-One Printer.

 

Please follow the steps listed below to turn off error correction mode:
1. From the printer control panel display, touch Setup.
2. Touch Fax Setup.
3. Touch Preferences.
4. Scroll to Error Correction Mode and touch to turn the feature off
