Long story short - cannot send out a fax from this machine  - HP Color LaserJet Flow E87640

 

Fax board has been replaced.

Printer can receive faxes, but cannot send.

 

Every time I try to send a fax from this machine, it seems to take longer than usual but ultimately results in a "Fax failed: No Carrier" message. I have tried everything for this, worked with both our phone MSP and printer support MSP and we all can confirm the fax line itself works. I can plug in an analog phone to this line and dial out to my cell phone and call the fax line directly and the analog phone will ring. When the line is plugged into the machine, I do not get a fax response though - just consistent ringing (similar to dialing a telephone number and no one answers; endless ringing).

I have also tried modifying the Fax Send Settings, lowering the speed of the fax, but ultimately EVERY attempt I have tried always results in this "No Carrier" message when trying to send out a fax.

 

Anyone have any suggestions as to why or how to resolve this? Been like this for months and I am at a complete loss.
