I uninstalled all HP drivers and reinstalled but the fax drivers would not install via Smart Start. So I manually installed the fax drivers and everything seems to be fine now but the Smart Start process needs to be fixed.

Thank you for posting, however you need to include more details to make it possible for someone to provide guidance. The list below is a generic list of possible information to provide and some may not be applicable in your case.
-Be sure to include model of printer
-operating system of computer
- printer driver installed
- printer connected via WIFI, Ethernet or USB?
- has it ever worked?
- any error messages appearing on the screen including numeric or text errors.
- anything that may happened just before the error started such as paper jams or power failures.
- If you can include a sample that would help when issue is print quality

I apologize for the lack of technical details. I thought that some of that was sent with my printer details. I have a new Thinkpad P14s with Win11 Pro v25H2. The printer is HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3301cdw. The printer itself works fine. I haven't tried scanning a doc. I have not tried to completely uninstall all HP drivers and start over so maybe I will do that next. I checked and the Send Fax app is installed so maybe the install process got stuck because the fax drivers were already installed?
I will uninstall all HP drivers and start over. That may also fix the issue of accessing the printer's settings when in the printers web page but can't when starting in HP Smart.
Thanks!
