just installed a deskjet 4635. Every time I attempt to print the fax window comes up. Can't get rid of fax window, can't print. Rebooted computer and printer many times. HP print doctor does not solve the problem. Uninstalled and reinstalled many times. Solution?

@notech3, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Can you go to Control Panel > Printers and Devices > HP Deskjet 4635 series printer.> Right Click on "Set as Default printer" and select the non-Fax printer.
If no printer is selectable, then would suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the FULL feature software.
1. Uninstall the software in your computer
2. Download and save the FULL feature software (do not install it online)
The following resource will help you :
http://123.hp.com/us/en/
Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.
3. Install the FULL feature “Saved” software
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
If you are not sure how to do this, the following resource will walk you through the steps:
How to Uninstall Download & Reinstall a Printer software.
If the issue persists, I would suggest you try the Windows built-in drivers. Follow the steps below:
• Go to Control Panel - Devices and printers - Click on "Add printer" and follow the on-screen instructions.
• When the page prompts for the drivers, select "Windows update". The driver list will be updated.
• Click HP, Hewlett Packard, or Hewlett-Packard in the Manufacturer pane, and then click the name of your printer in the Printers pane.
Refer to this document HP Printers - Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver for help.
Hope this helps!
