We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP Photosmart 7520 series. My scanner does nothing. No noise just tells me a misfeed occurred. Have two same printers. Changed the feeder from one to the other and the one with the message doesn't work either. Both feeders work on the same printer. Both feeders don't work on the other printer.  So its not the feeder. What could be wrong? Doesn't scan from neither location. Same message always. Could it be the main board?

Ran the doctor and seems to scan ok from the tray to my computer. No scanned document though. I hear the scanner work in the tray. On the computer, a message that says that ADF misfeed but I don't have any papers in the feeder. When I try to scan, directly form the printer display, there is a message on the display that says, Make sure your document is all the way into the ADF, then restart the copy job. I am trying to scan from the tray. I have another same printer and swapped the Document feeder and it works ok on the other printer. But none work on the one with the message. Could it be the main board?

Have done all that many times. The only way I can scan is from HP Smart and only from the  Scanner Glass.  If I try from HP Smart from the feeder, it says Document Feeder Issue., Make sure your documents is within the specs of the document feeder and fully seated in the tray. If I try directly from the printers display it says me about the same thing from document feeder, although I am trying to scan from the glass. Like I said on my post, Have another printer and swapped the feeder tray and same thing. The tray I take from this printer, works on the other printer.

I suggest you reinstall the driver and connect the printer to check if that fixes the issue.

 

You can follow the steps under this link to uninstall.

 

Furthermore, you can reinstall using HP Smart App from this link.

Downloaded the firmware. Shows the download but wont let me update. It says all the info about my printer but last column says Not applicable, shows serial # Host name, Port/Address Version  but would not let me check the box at the far left.
