First installation of HP package was under Windows 8.
Then I have migrated to Windows 10 (64) and the all-in-one printer/scanner/fax worked fine without asking for an upgrade of the software.
After a computer crash I had to reinstall the whole HP package because the printer did not work.
I have downloaded and used OJ2620_188.exe
While the printing functions work, there is no way to have HP scan functions work properly.
I can scan via Windows 10 built-in software.
HP Print and Scan Doctor gets stuck when checking the HP twain scanner.
I have tried several times to uninstall HP software and reinstall it but with no results.
Could anybody help me?
Thanks!

Hello, @EdLang - Greetings!
Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums! It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!
I understand you are getting a “TWAIN” error while scanning. I will certainly do my best to help you fix this issue 🙂
Did you try using the HP Scan and Capture app to scan? HP Scan and Capture is a simple application that captures photos or documents from an HP scanning device or your computer's built-in camera. These images can be previewed, edited, saved, and shared to other applications as well.
Go to http://hp.care/2bUVkrw to download and install the Windows Scan and Capture app.
Let me know how that goes. Good luck!
Cheers 🙂
