With Windows 10, my HP3830 would give me an option to scan a document and save as PDF, JPEG.etc.

With Windows 11, It automatically scans and saves as JPEG>

Hi @homayounhadi317,

 

Well, in this case, We have to perform a Semi Full Reset to unlock the features of the printer and see how it goes. 

 

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Thanks for your speedy response.

Is there a logical explanation for why the HP 3830 printer worked fine with my old PC and Windows 10 but is behaving differently with my new computer and Windows 11?

Could Windows 11 be the culprit?
