I get a single empty sheet of paper when trying to print. I get print head error. I have to reinstall the print head daily to be able to print. The printer is about 1 week old. The printer will be getting returned to Costco in the near future if this is not fix.

Hi @r-p-l,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP 7302 printer is experiencing an issue with the printhead, which could be due to a hardware defect or a connection problem. Since your printer is only a week old, it's best to address this promptly. Here are a few steps you can take.
Reset the Printer
- Power off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Reinstall the Printhead
- Open the printer to access the printhead.
- Remove the printhead and cartridges carefully.
- Clean the printhead contacts with a lint-free cloth slightly moistened with distilled water.
- Reinsert the printhead and cartridges, ensuring they are securely seated.
Update Printer Firmware
- Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date by checking for updates through the HP Smart app or the printer’s settings menu.
Check Ink Cartridges
- Ensure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly and have sufficient ink. If the cartridges are faulty, it could cause the printhead error.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
