Thank you. It works and your help is highly appreciated. I still don't understand why choosing 11x17 as output size (which is one of the options of the printer) it won't work, is there something wrong with my printer? I don't want to send my client a 10.62x11.03 document, it looks "un-professional" but I don't want to have to do a lot of editing in order to get an 11x17.

Again, thank you for your help, it worked.

I  am on a PC with windows 10.  I have 2 problems

1. My scans of 11x17 when printed are not the original size or scale.

2. when I print a PDF  the image shrinks. It is not the scale of the PDF.

I am an architect so this is ecessary to be able to scale the drawings and what I print need to be what is on the screen.

Hi @Carrie_08-,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Not sure if this would help, but perhaps you can try to "Print as Image" (under Advanced settings)

Print as an image for PDF.jpg

Thanks.

I know this is an old post, but I was working on a similar thread and they had a better solution than selecting a similar (but still wrong) paper size. You can find that solution here. Basically, using HP Scan, instead of selecting "11x17" for the paper size, select "Custom" and then enter "11x17".
