Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.
HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Was scanning. Got error message; "Scanner Problem. A problem with the scanner has been detected."

I tried restarting.  Failed.  I tried virtual assistance.  Failed. I ran a printer diagnostic and found found no issues.  It prints fine but won't scan now.  Any idea?

OK I believe I resolved it.  It is once again scanning and I have been able to switch between "copying" and scanning without any error messages or fails.  What seems to have done the trick is I shut off the printer. Then I unplugged the printer for at least 30 seconds. Then I completely backed out of and closed the HP app.  At this point I then reversed the procedure.  Plugged back in, reopened the HP app and successfully scanned without any error messages halting the scan.  So I should be all set.  I was getting ready to run down to Staples to buy a new unit.  LOL
