Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We have an HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw.

 

Firmware Version CLRWTRXXXN002.2118A.00 Built Date 2021-04-27

 

Whenever we receive a fax that errors out, subsequent faxes will not save via HP Digital Fax.

 

I have tried changing the settings under Settings > Advanced Settings to any combination imaginable but the faxes eventually will all fail and not save via HP Digital Fax.

The only way that fixes it is Restore to Factory Defaults which is a pain to do every time we receive a failed fax.

 

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

We have seen this issue with this revision of the firmware. We have been downgrading our customers to the previous version as a work around until HP fixes this problem.

We have had this issue prior to upgrading the firmware on this MFP before.

Which firmware version do I have to downgrade to?

 

More importantly, where can I find previous versions of firmware? It is not on the Software and drivers for HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw page.
