Product: HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

When I try to color scan a document using my HP Deskjet 2755e All in one printer with the following scanner settings I get a scanned document in black and white.

Output: "color" 

Presets: Photo or Document

Even the black and white document the scanner gives has some details like background image missing.

I tried another HP Deskjet 4100 series printer, I get the same result.
