I've recently had to replace my previous laptop (which used Windows 8.1) by one which uses Windows 10. I regularly used my HP Deskjet 3055A with my old laptop for printing and scanning, and have now successfully connected it to my new laptop, but although it still prints without any problem, the HP Printer Assistant menu has disappeared. When I do manage to open the Scan dialog (which is not easy to find), although I can scan a document, the HP 3055A no longer allows me to save it as a PDF. The only options it offers are BMP, JPG, PNG or TIF. Having checked on this forum I've just downloaded the latest version of Adobe PDF reader, but this has not solved the problem. What should I do now?

Can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system:
The following resource will help you :
https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers
Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.
Alternatively, this link will also help to download and install the FULL feature software.
https://123.hp.com/us/en/
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
