Deskjet 4100
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi there

I want some help setting up the default 'save; location for this printer/scanner.

When I scan a document, it keeps saving it in a rather obscure location on my pc and I cannot find out how to change this default setting.

Can anyone help please?

Thank you

Graham

Scanning issues…

Please try this scan solution:

HP Scan Extended

For Windows:   ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Make searchable PDFs w/OCR scans with this free scanning software - https://www.naps2.com/

Let us know.

Thanks for the idea, but it doesnt recognise my print/scanner - error message 'The HP Imaging Device was not found'

Any ideas on how to make it see it? I have the Deskjet 4100

It also doesnt seem to integrate with the HP Solution centre

You have other computer problems then.   Try reinstalling the full featured software and drivers again.
