HP DeskJet Plus 4155 All-in-One Printer

Until recently, I was able to send faxes effortlessly.  I saw my status was trial, so I paid for the lifetime service. Everything I try to fax, before the fax even dials, I get an error message. "It seems an error has occurred before the sending process. Please try to send again". But, it never works. Do I need to download an app to make it work?

Interesting --  HP Smart - HP Mobile Fax  does  not mention that the mobile service has moved from its long standing Trial status into a paid service plan subscription service.

FAQ

What does the Mobile Fax service cost?

Currently the Mobile Fax service is on trial and available free to users. HP does not require a credit card or any other form of payment to use the Mobile Fax service during the free trial period. HP will inform users of available paid service plans 30-days prior to the end of the free trial period, at which point users will be required to provide a form of payment if they want to continue to use the Mobile Fax service. HP has the right to disable the service at any time for any reason for any one or all users. HP has the right to delete accounts and all related files, records and access. Please review the terms of service by clicking here.

Note: Users will be notified 30 days in advance when the trial ends.

I don't find a support number for Mobile Fax support.

 

Assuming this plan service works the same as do other paid subscriptions provided by HP,

Log into your Mobile Fax plan account and look for a method to contact Support.

 

What else?

I will send a request to our Moderator team for comment.

Should there be a response, look for a message here before the agent uses other means to contact you.
