On February 20, 2024, my Easy Scan quit unexpectedly while trying to save the scan. Has not worked since.

My Laser Jet Pro was updated automatically overnight a few days ago.  Easy scan no longer will save a file after scanning a document.  Any ideas?

Were you able to get your Easy Scan to work?   I have not.  Just reached out to HP via their feedback portal to give them some feedback ... and one star for lack of assistance.

 BTW - Just tried to scan using the HP Smart app.  That worked, was able to save the file.  But you have to scan one page at a time --- does not work with the document feeder.  Slow!

I was not able to get it to work. It scans, but when I try to save, it shuts down every time.

 

I did get HpSmart to scan, even from the document feeder. I have an HP OfficeJet 8710.
