Hi,
My HP Easy Scan stopped working few days ago (printing works just fine):
Scanner reported an error
The scan was not completed because the operation was cancelled while scanning was in progress.
Tried different solutions and also fetching a drivers to HP Easy Admin and re-installing with HP Easy Start but this operation couldn't finish since it's stuck on: Preparing device for setup... (when fetching the drivers).
Just noticed that the when I open the scanner the red light starts blinking next to the scanner bulb. What does it mean, is the scanner bulb the problem here, and not the software?
My OS is macOS Monterey 12.0.1 (tried also with macOS Big Sur 11.6.1)
This is becoming annoying since I need a scanner in for my daily work. Do you know the process of how to re-install my drivers so that the scan starts working again?

Just brought back my HP M127fw printer back from service. Everything is fine with hardware. Scanning worked with their Windows OS.
But I still get the Scanner reported an error when trying to scan a document using HP Easy Scan on my MacOS.
Do you know what is going on? Can someone from HP reply?
Copying the docs on the printer works just fine. So something with the drivers or HP Easy Scan is wrong. I've updated everything to the latest version (drivers and software).
Also I've tried to reinstall the drivers and software via HP Easy Start and the print test works fine, but the scan test throws an error: The scanner reported an error.
