Operating System: Chrome OS

Hey! I've been very happy with my set up.

But recently my windows PC has been replaced with a Chrombox.

I can cloud print, family can print, I can print. 

Alas, today I was setting it up to scan. 

I'm at a loss, or perhaps I am missing something? Hey, I'm 60 and perhaps forgot something.

I'm good with YouTube instructions, but can't seem to find out why I cannot scan now.

Turned off everything and still cannot scan....<help!>
