i've installed the software for my Envy5000 printer, and printing and scanning works well.
On other pc's in my homenetwork i can only print with the Envy5000.
I want also scan with the other pc's. How do i do that?
I tried a few times with the installation of the the full_webpack_44.4.278, but after that i can only print or only scan.
My pc has Win10-32bits installed.

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Support Community.
Try this standalone scan software:
HP Scan Extended
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi
Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"
Hope that helps!

Green turtle, thanks for your reaction.
I followed your advice, but every time when I try to scan I get the error message: 'Error while scanning' (or something like that).
So, it doesn't solved my problem.

Hi @JanD2
Cam try to Uninstall and Reinstall the FULL feature software on the 2nd PC following these steps:
1. Uninstall the software in your computer
2. Download and save the FULL feature software (do not install it online) - If it's already downloaded, skip this step.
The following resource will help you :
https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers
Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.
3. Install the FULL feature “Saved” software
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
If you are not sure how to do this, the following resource will walk you through the steps:
How to Uninstall Download & Reinstall a Printer software
Hope that helps!

Greenturtle, thanks again.
I've done this already before, but with the same problem.
With the HP Print and Scan Doctor (v5.2.1) I found that the first tests were OK, but the test on HP Twain-scan wouldn't finish, and also the following tests (Register, HP scan and Testscan) didn't start at all.
Maybe something wrong with Twain?

Hi @JanD2
Running out of options.
Can you try this:
* *Note that if there are other printers installed, these will need to be reinstalled after this.
Step 1. Uninstall the HP Software from your PC. Please follow the steps provided to uninstall the printer software in the link:
Uninstalling the Printer Software (Windows)https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02259020
Also, please follow the steps provided below to completely remove the printer software from printer properties.
Steps to remove printer driver files from Print Server Properties:
Step 2. Open the Print Server Properties dialog window by doing one of the following:
• Click the Start menu and in the search field type 'printui /s /t2' (without the quotes), and then press Enter or click it in the search list.
• Open “Devices and Printers” (not Win10)
• Select any printer and then click "Print server properties" at the top of the window.
• Click on the Drivers tab.
• Click on each printer driver and click on Remove
For Win10:
• Press WINDOWS-R on the keyboard to bring up the Run window, type in 'printui /s /t2' (without the quotes), and then press Enter or click OK.
• Click on the Drivers tab.
• Click on each printer driver and click on Remove
• From the Start menu or the Start screen:
• Open “Printers and Scanners”
• Click on each Printer and click “Remove Device”
Step 3. Backup your registry before making any registry changes, the following resource will show you how:
https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03485724
Step 4. Update the registry using the Reg file below
Note: this will change some printer related policies for your PC):
https://www.dropbox.com/s/avbv56zdgwv7600/kernel.reg?dl=1
Step 5. Right click the Start menu and select Run. Type Services.msc and press OK.
Locate and stop the Print Spooler service
Step 6. Browse to c:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers.
Rename W32X86 to W32x86.oldRename x64 to x64.old
Note: if any of these folders fail to rename reboot your PC and then continue following the steps starting from Step 5.
Step 7. Restart PC.
Step 8. Finally, reinstall the HP Software.
Hope that helps!

Greenturtle, I think it is too tricky and too much work for me to uninstall all printers and printerdrivers.
So, I've to accept the fact that scanning with my 2e pc doesn't work.
Thanks for your time and advices.
