Product: HP Envy 5530
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Bought HP Envy 5530 several years ago . . . (1) never needed the scan to mail function before now; (2) worked online with HP IT techs for over two hours to set this up---to no avail (I was told I could only use scan to mail by using a smart phone).  (3) I do not believe this is true---I should be able to "scan using HP Envy 5530", send scan to my computer, and email.  Period.  HELP ~ C

Yes, you can definitely scan to e-mail. Here is a document to help you set it up: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03953891

 

 

Though it mentions a LaserJet Printer, the same instructions hold for your Printer too.
