Wireless light is on but I can’t make a copy

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Copy is a standalone function that does not require the printrer to be connected to the network.  Having said that, these resources will show you how to copy for this printer and other uses:

When I lift lid to insert page to be copied, lights on control panel do not light up.  Only light on panel is for wi fi.  Printer works from scans and from files, but I can’t make a copy.

If the lights do not lit up for copy when a document is placed on the flatbed scanner, then something is not right.

Try to lift the scanner lid all the way, load the document and then close the lid, does the Copy buttons light up?
