Just bought this printer.  Set up went well.  It was working fine scanning & copying.  Went to make a copy that went fine, went to make second copy & all lights disappeared on pad except Wifi !  Rebooted with no success.  Frustrated & angry because this printer will not perform simple task.  Anyone have a solution before I take this back & buy something else ?

I FIXED IT !   This is what I did . . . .  Pulled plug for 30 seconds, reinserted & printer turned on without hitting button.  I let it do it's long involved self check & then WIFi light came on.  Then opened compartment with ink cartridges that realigned for extraction. Replaced with new ink cartridges & closed compartment.  Lifted lid & inserted paper to be copied & closed lid.  That's when lights for coping turned on !  And it actually COPIED !  So it was as I suspected.  The ink this comes with when new is minimal & you will have to replace in short order.  I fully expected there would be some sort of warning light to indicate to change ink.  Basically it just shuts down when it needs new ink.  Hopes this helps someone 🙂

Same here!

However, not necessarily in the same order.

I changed ink cartridges and just that didn't work.

I then unplugged for over 30 seconds and let it do its thing.

All but wifi light went back off....then I saw the copy light blinking.

Hit it and it copied.

Not smart that the HP Smart software is not programmed to catch this nor that the caution for this is not stated.
