We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

When I scan from my HP app on my PC, the results are a blank document with a tiny printer icon.  I can open the Windows and fax on my computer and initiate a scan from there, but it will only result in individual pages.  I can place a document in the document feeder or on the glass and scan a document to my computer, and it opens in the Windows and fax app.

Is HP totally ignoring this issue, it seems a large amount of us have the same (BLANK PAGES WHEN SCANNING FROM THE DOCUMENT FEEDER) issue.  

Anyone get an answer yet?  It is frustrating to have to have to scan large documents one by one.  Is HP ignoring so that we get annoyed and buy a new one?  

It is frustrating that there is not a fix YET!

I understand you are not able to scan from the feeder using the HP Smart app.

 

Have you tried reinstalling the app?

 

Try using the HP Scan and Capture app to scan or install a full feature printer driver until HP releases a fix for this bug.

Click here to download the HP Full-feature driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

Try scanning.
