HP LaserJet M3035
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

Reopening for the below locked post. HP have not released a firmware update to address this yet, unless one of the previous commenters has received an update?

Problem:  Scans to a network folder fail with the above 110/6005 error. On examination, it appears that a partial file was written to the network folder, but it was truncated at about one MB (although this value varies). Acrobat thinks the file is corrupt because it's not seeing a proper end of file marker, and won't open the PDF.

It appears that this may be a problem related to the removal of the Server Message Block version 1 protocol in recent Windows updates. Microsoft states that SMB v1 is dangerously unsecure and should no longer be used. See Microsoft KB2696547 for details.

I just finished a support call with HP. They are aware of the SMB v1 issue, and say that a firmware update for the M3035 MFP will be released within July 2018 to correct it."
