Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Please follow these instructions here: Scan to a network folder 

You should have watched the video first.

 

This software package may need to be installed later: Driver Installation Software – Includes Print, Scan, Fax drivers

I have tried this scan to network folder but it's not working.

Hello,

something is going wrong here. So take this checklist and check all the points.

Also check the firewall!

 

If that doesn't help, then

 

  1. Disconnect printer/scanner from computer- Disable WLAN, WiFi and/or remove the USB or LAN cable.- Do not switch off the printer >> unplug the power cord from the socket!
  2. Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list. 
    including HP Smart.
  3. Restart the PC
  4. Close all programs
  5. download only this complete package: HP Software – Recommended 
  6. Close all programs
  7. Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the EXE,
    File name: HPEasyStart-16.2.1-LJ4101-4104_UWWL_4_1_54_4_5330_Webpack.exe (230.7 MB)
  8. The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
  9. Restart the System again
  10. Now the installation is complete.

Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.
