HP LaserJet Pro MFP M477fnw
macOS 10.14 Mojave

Due to a mainboard replacement of my MacBookPro, I needed to install all drivers new.

The previous Scanner Driver (Only driver available for Mac OS) HP Easy Scan, which previously supported scans direkt from bed or automatic reading of A4 papers, is not supported anymore.

When going to the settings of HP Easy Scan, the Scan Source, the scan colour, the scan resolution and the scan processing cannot be accessed anymore. Instead there is a picture of a granny Smith green apple.

For Printing I cannot select black and white, Paper size, types of paper etc anymore. The driver is absolutely useless.

It sounds like you may need to install the HP Essentials package.

Download HP Easy Start and then install the latest Essential package listed in the downloads.

You can get HP Easy Start here by clicking the download button.

This will give you the full feature print drivers as well as the HP Utility which may be where the additional scan settings were located.
