My printer will print, but not scan. I've gone through many steps to resolve offered by support and chat, but nothing works.
- checked router, cables and disconnect printer cord
- changed network channels
- reset printer
-reinstalled software
These are the messages given: - Printer: "No computer found" - IP entered in browser: "Cannot find server" - ?: "Bonjour malfunction" - Printer Network Diagnostics" This computer appears to have a working internet connection, but cannot find “HP OfficeJet Pro 6970 [C64B12]._ipps._tcp.local.”. You may have typed the address incorrectly.

@tami15, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Let us perform a PING test to check the connectivity between the printer and the MAC
- Obtain the IP address of the printer by clicking on the Wireless icon on the printer
- On the MAC Go to Spotlight > search for Network utility > select Ping tab > enter the IP address of the printer in the box
- Check the second box that says Send only > 10 pings
- Click on ping > Check the results at the end if any packets are lost
- Note: There should be 0% packet loss. Share the results. Proceed to the next step if 0%
It sounds like Scan to Computer is disabled on your Mac. Enabling Scan to computer using HP Utility may resolve the issue. Let's try these steps:
1.) On your Mac, click Finder, click Applications, click the Hewlett-Packard or HP folder, then double-click HP Utility. (If HP Utility is not available, download and install the install the printer essential software from here)
2.) Under Scan Settings, click Scan to Computer, then make sure the Enable Scan to Computer check box is selected.

3.) Try to scan.
Let me know how this goes.
