My scanned documents are producing vertical lines. I have cleaned the glass and cover and no resolve

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Are the vertical lines black lines or bands of color?

 

Can you try to clean the area highlighted in this resource:

 

HP AiO Printers : Resolving Vertical lines or bands on copied or scanned document

 

 

If after cleaning and ensuring no dirt and both scan and copy still has the vertical lines, the scanner might be defective.
